Warranty & Work Liability

Last updated: Jan, 2025

This Residential Warranty & Work Liability Policy outlines the terms under which Elevated Electric (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides workmanship warranties and defines limitations of liability for residential electrical services.

12-Month Workmanship Warranty

Elevated Electric provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on all residential electrical work performed by our licensed professionals, beginning on the date the work is completed.

This warranty covers labor only and applies exclusively to the specific work performed by Elevated Electric.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in workmanship that result directly from services performed by Elevated Electric under normal residential use and conditions.

If a covered issue arises during the warranty period, we will repair the affected workmanship at no additional labor cost.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover issues or damages caused by:

  • Manufacturer defects in materials, fixtures, devices, or equipment

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation

  • Improper maintenance by the homeowner

  • Work altered or repaired by others

  • Power surges, lightning, flooding, fire, or other acts of nature

  • Pre-existing electrical conditions not caused by our work

  • Code changes or inspection requirements enacted after installation

All materials and equipment are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, which is separate from this workmanship warranty.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elevated Electric shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of use of electrical systems

  • Property damage unrelated to our workmanship

  • Costs associated with third-party repairs

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Homeowner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, homeowners must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to work areas

  • Disclose known electrical issues or hazards

  • Ensure that no third party modifies our completed work

  • Use installed systems as intended

Failure to meet these responsibilities may void the workmanship warranty.

Code Compliance

All residential work performed by Elevated Electric complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local and state codes in effect at the time of installation. Future code changes or upgrades are not covered under this warranty.

Emergency & Temporary Repairs

Emergency services or temporary repairs are performed to restore safety or functionality and may not constitute a permanent solution. These services may carry limited or no warranty unless otherwise stated in writing.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, homeowners must:

  1. Contact Elevated Electric within the 12-month warranty period

  2. Provide proof of service (invoice or completion date)

  3. Allow reasonable access for inspection and repair

Warranty claims will be evaluated and addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

No Other Warranties

This policy represents the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Elevated Electric. No other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are made unless stated in writing.

Policy Updates

Elevated Electric reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
